Jack Sprat Could Eat No Fat. Jack Sprat could eat no fat, His wife could eat no lean; And so betwixt them both, They lick'd the platter clean.

At its origins “Jack Sprat” was known as a proverb, and the term used to refers at short people in the 16th century.
