Changes being made in 2026 ready for 2027

 

 Due to the changes that are going to be taking place in 2027 to help keep everyone safe on social Media I am looking at keeping this blog very Vanilla and also re looking at all of the blogs that I have created.

I am a strong believer that children need to have a childhood and not be exploited by the media industry but where do we draw the line once the we have already let the Ginnie out of the bottle.

Personal I believe that it starts me yourself.

Because everyone needs to be safe and to learn how to be in the future.

So please look out for any changes on my social media platforms and take care of you and your loved ones.

June 2026. Online Child saftey

 

Due to the change that are currently under way to protect under 18 years old online material.

I am personally recommending that if you have children will accounts that are likely to be shut down in the future that you back up all online data epically photos.

I also run a blog that i am posting the link to on here so that you can join and be sent up to date emails and information providing that you have an email account that proves that you are over the age of 18.

Look to the Stars

Over the past five months the one thing that Bryndly would like to learn more about is planets and stars, so I have enable him to do this and will look at setting up another blog for him that is about this.

Bryndly is home schooled due to his SEN needs and not fitting into the "Right Box", so I have been home schooling him.

This enables him to work on the things that he loves and to work on his strength also.

So over the past 12 month we have been focusing on English, Maths, Geography and Astronomy.

Usiong the BBC Bite Size, book(s), youtube and other online materials too.

2021 Happy New Year I Hope You Dance By Lee Ann Womack

With 2025 now drawing to a close I am taking this time to wish you a Happy New Year for 2026.

Usually I am to do a you tube video to welcoming in the new year and to show case the year I have had.

Sadly I have not been able to do this for 2025, due to my illness, disabilities and once again facing homelessness.

These are things that I would like to talk about more in 2026, also to showcase thought out 2026 to promote information and awareness about these.

I know that the say “A picture paints a thousand words.” So I will aim to do this though my art.

Saturnalia Explained

Happy Satunalia December 17 to December 23

Saturnalia is an ancient Roman festival and holiday in honour of the god Saturn, held on 17 December in the Julian calendar and later expanded with festivities until 19 December.

By the 1st century BC, the celebration had been extended until 23 December, for a total of seven days of festivities. The holiday was celebrated with a sacrifice at the Temple of Saturn, in the Roman Forum, and a public banquet, followed by private gift-giving, continual partying, and a carnival atmosphere that overturned Roman social norms: gambling was permitted, and masters provided table service for their slaves as it was seen as a time of liberty for both slaves and freedmen alike.

A common custom was the election of a "King of the Saturnalia", who gave orders to people, which were followed and presided over the merrymaking. The gifts exchanged were usually gag gifts or small figurines made of wax or pottery known as sigillaria. The poet Catullus called it "the best of days".
